Sluggish Sundays : On Money

Sluggish Sundays is a not-really-weekly feature at Thoughts of a Teenage Fangirl, wherein I write about my thoughts, feelings and opinions about certain topics based on events that happened during the week.

I don't know how to start this post. I have been staring at the screen of my phone for minutes. I know how retarded it is, updating this blog with a phone that blogger does not want me to use the compose button so I'm using html to write this.

So I went to my uncle's house today because...I don't really know why. Basically, we ate awkward lunch, watched an awkward film, and watched my mom cry awkwardly after the movie. I just had to escape the awkward atmosphere so me and my sisters suggested that we go to the gym. We successfully convinced our dad to accompany us after we debated that laying on the couch was not horizontal standing.

When we got to the gym, we discovered that the treadmills weren't working, so we tried out the bike thingies. Me and my sisters had this contest that the first one who reached a kilometer would win. Our dad decided to just admire the equipment. I actually got third place. Ahihi...out of three people. Well, that isn't so bad, right?

Right?

Well, we were doing a rematch until my dad told us to go out of the gym fast. We asked him why afterwards, and he told us about the entrance fee which was $15. We went out without objecting.

Funny how money seems to run the world these days.

On the bright side, I finished reading Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, so expect an update soon. That is, if someone's reading this blog. Let me know?
